STATUTE

1. Introduction

1.1.The hereby statute specifies terms and conditions of using ChallengeSD.eu portal, especially rights and obligations of the registered Users. Upon registration every User is obliged to get acquainted with the statute and accept its provisions.

2. Definitions

2.1. Portal – the social network of sustainable development, located on the Internet with domain name www.challengeSD.eu, the initiator and creator of the portal is Centrum Rozwiązań Sysytemowych and Sendzimir Foundation;

2.2. Administration – the portal is administrated by Centrum Rozwiązań Sysytemowych Association

2.3. Statute – an electronic document regulating rights and obligations of the Administration and the User; an inseparable part of the Statute is the Privacy Policy attachment.

2.4. User – any natural or legal person who accepted the Statute and passed the registration procedure (created an account) and obtained an access to services available for Users.

2.5. User profile database – information about registered Users.

2.6. User profile – a place in the service where, in accordance with the Statute and the Privacy Policy, the Users personal database is published as well as information added by the User voluntarily (photo, gg number, Skype, phone number, etc.)

2.7. User account – User’s virtual space in the Portal constituted of information added by User; to obtain an access to the account User needs to log in: enter login and password; User has a possibility to modify his or her profile or account configuration.

2.8. Login – an identifier of User created during registration process (name and surname or nickname)

2.9. Group – Internet tool allowing Users communication

- discussions – discussions on certain subjects

- projects – for Users planning to or carrying out projects

- organizations – groups for representatives and members of governmental or non-governmental organizations and other institutions, e.g. schools.

2.10. Mikroblog – short information entered by User concerning his or her current state, thoughts, ideas;

2.11. Blog – jtype of an Internet website maintained by one User with regular entries, form of internet diary.

3. Portal – object of activity and the name

3.1. The owner of the portal is Centrum Rozwiązań Systemowych;

3.2. The object of activity is to:

Create an internet community – entrepreneurs, scientists, representatives of self-government, non-governmental organizations, students and others interested in this field who can share knowledge and experience, and initiate new actions and projects in favor of sustainable development in Poland;

Create a rich topical database of resources which will let expand the users’ knowledge on issues connected with sustainable development; conduct trainings on sustainable development;

3.3. The name of the portal (ChallengeSD.eu), its idea, graphic design, content, database, software are subject to legal protection.

4. Website technical requirements

4.1. To successfully use ChallengeSD.eu an access to the Internet and appropriate software are necessary

5. Rules for participating

5.1. Each User is a participant.
